The school attends the European Student Convention annually.
This year it was held at the Millfield complex in Street, Somerset where there was opportunity for fellowship, rallies and competition with delegates (students, parents and teachers) from many countries including Ireland, Spain, Philippines, Nigeria, Russia and Belarus.
During the day there are opportunities to participate in many different activities including music, speech, drama, art & design, photography and sport).
During the evening rallies are held.
Erich Santos was the guest speaker from the Philippines .
This year the school won gold, silver and bronze medals in athletics and netball, and also came just outside the medals in a one-act-play performance, scripted by two of the Vine School pupils.
