ACE
All students from ABCs to ICCE Advanced Certificate study Information Communication Technology (ICT) using the Future Kids curriculum which is accredited by Cambridge University and endorsed by Christian Education Europe.
The ACE programme has its’ own qualification system – the International Certificate of Christian Education, which provides an alternative to the usual GCSE, AS and A Level route. The ICCE certificates are baccalaureate style qualifications. Students can achieve:
The ICCE is gaining increasing acceptance by employers and universities in the UK and elsewhere. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) UK Qualifications Handbook includes details of both the ICCE and its’ forerunner, the NCSC and in 2009 the International QH will also include details of the ICCE.
UK NARIC has recently assessed the ICCE qualifications. As a result, NARIC has issued a statement comparing the ICCE Advanced level to Cambridge International Examination A Level. (NARIC is the UK government body for assessing international examinations.)
The ICCE General Level has been accepted by many Sixth Form and Further Education Colleges for further studies (for example, A Levels.) Equally, other students have established themselves in more vocational careers, as their gifts and talents have been nurtured and progressed through the ACE programme.
Many Universities accept the higher Certificates for entrance onto their courses.
